Charming 4-star gîtes for rent
In the Lot at Puy L'Évèque, near Cahors
Before arriving at the Domaine du Cardou, situated in a 7-hectare green setting, just a short distance from Puy l'EvĂŞque, considered to be one of the most beautiful villages in the Lot, and in an environment conducive to relaxation and well-being, you will follow a wooded path to this sumptuous 13th century building, which proudly displays its Quercy-style buildings and its various pigeon lofts, forming a sort of small hamlet (probably a former relay station for St Jacques de Compostelle).
The materials used are noble and natural such as stone, pebbles, wood and iron.
You will appreciate the charm of the place and our rentals with their quality services and great comfort. Each gîte has its own entrance and private garden, designed for your meals and relaxation.
If there is a region where it is good to live and stay, it is the Lot. Nature is generous with its products: its wines, its duck and goose foie gras, its truffles, its fruits... However, the pleasure is not limited to the table. Its landscapes are as different as they are splendid and its medieval past has left us a sumptuous heritage.
Marie and Pierre welcome you in a family atmosphere. We are at your disposal to make your stay a pleasant one, during which you will be able to explore the vineyards of Cahors, Bergerac and the hillsides of Quercy... Many of the winegrowers will not hesitate to show you around their cellars, followed by a wine tasting.
The activities at the Domaine: For couples, families or friends, there are many activities on offer.
(swimming pool, bowling green, children's playground, table tennis, fitness room with sauna, large room with documentation, wifi access...).
You will be staying in an area that is conducive to relaxation and well-being. The hamlet is surrounded by woods, meadows and footpaths. During your walks, you will be able to see some roe deer, hinds and other animals of our forests. You can also admire our squirrels.
